API keys (OpenRouter, Hugging Face, Google AI Studio, Groq, GitHub Models, ZenMux, OpenProvider, Z.ai) are now set as environment variables on your hosting provider (e.g. Vercel), not here. This keeps them out of every visitor's browser, including yours, and means they work automatically on every device. See api/chat.js for the variable names to set.
⚠️ GitHub Models was closed to new customers on June 16, 2026 and is being retired by GitHub on an unannounced timeline. It only works if your GitHub account had prior usage. Treat it as a bonus, not a dependency — your other providers cover you automatically if it stops working.

The admin password is now set as the ADMIN_PASSWORD environment variable in your Vercel project (Settings → Environment Variables), so it's checked on the server and never stored in any browser. To change it, update that variable in Vercel and redeploy.
Enable Image Generation Mode
Uses Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (free, via your Google AI Studio key). Falls back to OpenRouter automatically if that's also configured.
Randomize Model per Prompt
Backs up website name, announcement, custom models, removed models, and toggles — the shared settings that apply to every visitor. Does NOT include any chat history.
"Wipe All Local Data" clears only your own chat history and personal settings on this device. "Reset Site Settings for Everyone" resets the website name, announcement, custom models, and toggles for ALL visitors.
